Bank robber armed with dynamite surrenders
BEND, Ore. (AP) — Two high schools went into lockdown when a man possibly armed with dynamite held up a nearby Bend bank. KTVZ reports the man believed to be in his 60s or 70s placed what appeared to be dynamite on a counter Friday afternoon. Police negotiators arrived and the suspect emerged from the bank about 30 minutes later to surrender — shirtless and with his hands up.
