WSU fraternities, sororities banned from hosting social events until the spring semester
PULLMAN, Wash. -- Due to "alcohol-related incidents," the fraternities and sororities at Washington State University have been banned from holding social events on campus until at least the spring, it was announced Monday. "Throughout this fall semester, there has been a concerning rise in the number of assaults, rapes, falls and hospitalizations due to the overuse of alcohol and/or drugs by Greek members in the community," said a joint statement issued by the Interfraternity Council and and Panhellenic Council at WSU.
