Thinking too much could cause you to die sooner, study says
SAN FRANCISCO (KRON) – Relax and take it easy – it’s good for you! Researchers at Harvard Medical School analyzed post-death brain tissue and compared that with the tissue of centenarians (people at least age 100) to those who died in their 60s and 70s. The study found that those who died at younger ages had lower levels of a protein called REST (RE-1 Silencing Transcription), which quiets brain activity.
