Video shows ‘horrific’ conditions at farm that sold turkeys nationwide
SANPETE COUNTY, Utah - A Utah turkey company is under fire from an animal activist group, after the group released photos and videos allegedly showing deplorable conditions and disturbing health problems at a local turkey farm. Direct Action Everywhere (DxE) said it spent nine months investigating the farm in Moroni, Utah, which contracts with Norbest, a major distributor whose turkeys are sold across the country. Norbest had already stopped using the farm's birds and cleared all the animals Nov. 1, according to the company.
