Senate vote scheduled for Monday to end shutdown
The Senate is scheduled to vote Monday to re-open the government following Majority Leader Mitch McConnell's pledge to take up legislation to address an expiring immigration program in hopes of enticing enough Democrats to come on board. It's not clear if those concessions are enough to garner the 60 votes need to pass a continuing resolution, but at least one previous no vote -- Sen. Jeff Flake, an Arizona Republican -- said he was now a yes.
