Romaine lettuce linked to E. coli outbreak has likely aged out of stores, restaurants
Romaine lettuce from the Yuma, Arizona growing region, linked to dozens of infections caused by a strain of E. coli is likely no longer being sold in stores or served in restaurants, according to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. The last shipments of romaine lettuce from the Yuma region were harvested on April 16, 2018 and the harvest season is over, according to the U.S. Food and Drug Administration.
