Parker woman gets jail, probation in hit-and-run that badly injured 12-year-old boy
DOUGLAS COUNTY, Colo. -- A Parker woman who badly injured a 12-year-old boy in a hit-and-run crash last year has been sentenced. The 18th Judicial District Attorney's Office said Douglas District Judge Shay Whitaker sentenced Kimberley Miller, 49, to 30 days in jail and two years probation. Miller pleaded guilty Feb. 5 to leaving the scene of an accident involving serious bodily injury. Other charges were dropped as part of the plea agreement.
