49 residents displaced after fire makes Aurora apartment building uninhabitable
AURORA, Colo. -- A large fire broke out at an apartment complex on Sunday night, deeming it uninhabitable, Aurora Fire Rescue said. The fire started about 6:30 p.m. at the Courtyards at Buckley apartments in the 2100 block of South Rifle Way. The fire was under control by 7:15 p.m. The Red Cross of Colorado and Wyoming said 24 units were damaged and uninhabitable. In all, 49 residents were displaced, the Red Cross said.
