Best of the Colorado supermoon
DENVER -- Photographers across Colorado captured the biggest supermoon in 68 years Sunday night into Monday morning. Did you see it? The supermoon rose Sunday at 4:43 p.m. on the eastern horizon and set on Monday at 6:44 a.m. behind the mountains. Why is it "super?" It's 14 percent bigger and 30 percent brighter than typical full moons. The next supermoon of equal size doesn't occur until 2034.
