Wildfire burns northeast of Horsetooth Reservoir; person detained
LARIMER COUNTY, Colo. -- A wildfire broke out just northeast of Horsetooth Reservoir in Larimer County on Thursday morning, the Poudre Fire Authority said. The Skyline Fire started about 11:30 a.m. near the reservoir west of Fort Collins. No evacuations were ordered. Air resources were deployed to the area, and a helicopter began dropping water about 1 p.m. Fire officials said two more air resources were being sent to the area.
