Aurora family warns against ‘puffing’ after truck stolen with dogs inside
AURORA, Colo. -- An Aurora family is warning others of the dangers of "puffing" after their truck was stolen with their two dogs inside. While illegal in most cities, puffing is common across Colorado in winter months, as people leave cars running unattended to get them warm on cold mornings. Wednesday morning, Manny Sandoval says he put his dogs in the back of his truck near Tower Road and Interstate 70, then ran back inside his house to get his lunch. When he came back out, the truck was gone.
