Triple-digit heat in Denver ties record high
DENVER -- Temperatures climbed through the 90s steadily Friday before hitting 101 degrees at Denver International Airport at 3:15 p.m. for the first time this year. The previous record high for Denver on July was 101, which was set in 2005. The last time Denver reached triple digits was June 28, 2018, when it hit 105 degrees at Denver International Airport, tying for the hottest recorded temperature in the city's history.
