Denver’s daily record high crushed as temperature hits 90, fourth earliest 90 on record
DENVER -- Temperatures in the Denver area felt more like summer than spring on Thursday. Just before 4 p.m., the temperature at Denver International Airport hit 90 degrees. According to the National Weather Service's Boulder office, it is the fourth earliest 90-degree day on record. The old record for May 10th is 86 degrees, set in 1991, 1962 and 1961.
