Tom Clements’ homicide possibly tied to prison gang
DENVER -- The brazenness and brutality of the crime stunned Colorado in March 2013 when a state prison parolee, Evan Ebel, was suspected of ambushing and killing Nathan Leon, a Denver pizza deliveryman. Ebel is then believed to have used Leon's uniform to trick Colorado Department of Corrections Chief Tom Clements into opening the door of his Monument home where Clements was shot and killed.
