Lingering rain chances to last through Wednesday
DENVER -- The strong snowstorm that spent the weekend in the region is slow to completely leave. A few snow showers fell early Tuesday, especially south and east of Denver. Meanwhile, rain showers caused wet roads near downtown Denver early Tuesday morning. Skies since then have dried over the city with sun making a return. However, scattered mountain snow and rain in the northeastern Plains continue.
