Beagles freed after undergoing pesticide testing at animal lab
The Humane Society of the United States is chalking up a big win after their undercover investigation halted pesticide testing on dogs. According to the HSUS, 36 beagles were being subjected to experiments at a Michigan animal testing lab. Following the investigation report last week, Dow AgroSciences (Corteva AgriScience) announced Monday that it has put a stop to a one-year pesticide test on the dogs at Charles River Laboratories in Michigan.
