She’ll give ‘other babies a second chance:’ Tennessee mother carries dying daughter to term to donate her organs
CHATTANOOGA, Tenn. -- A Tennessee family was told four months into their pregnancy that their baby would not survive because of a rare, deadly brain disorder but they decided to carry the baby to full-term for a selfless reason. WTVC reported that Krysta Davis and Dereck Lovett's daughter, Rylei Arcadia Lovett, was born without parts of her brain and skull. But doctors told them that her daughter’s organs could be donated to other children, if the baby was carried to full-term.
