Weiser wins race to become attorney general as Brauchler concedes
DENVER -- Republican George Brauchler conceded the Colorado attorney general's race on Wednesday morning to Democrat Phil Weiser. Weiser becomes the first Democrat since 2005 to hold the job after gaining about 50 percent of the vote to 47 percent for Brauchler, the 18th Judicial District attorney and Aurora theater shooting prosecutor.
