Denver police respond to shots fired in RiNo, suspect in custody
DENVER -- The Denver Police Department says a man was taken into custody after officers responded to shots fired in the River North neighborhood midday Saturday. DPD said the incident started about 11:30 a.m. near 27th and Blake streets. Police Chief Paul Pazen said that when officers responded, they heard a gun being fired. They apprehended a man who was shooting a rifle, police said.
