Weather System Bringing Scattered Rain to Sacramento Valley, Snow to the Sierra
SODA SPRINGS -- Three major storm systems have dumped several feet of snow in the high Sierra over the past week. Boreal Mountain Ski Resort has gotten more than 2 feet of snow in the past 72 hours but despite all the fresh powder, the lifts weren’t too busy Wednesday. "It gets very heavy," said Phil Cabaud, who traveled to the snow from Sonoma. "You can see how it’s melting on you instead of being all white and fluffy."
