Police: Suspect Shot by Fairfield Officer Didn’t Have Weapon
FAIRFIELD -- A Concord man who was shot by a Fairfield police officer on Monday didn't have a weapon on him, police said Tuesday. James Jarrard, 32, is suspected of shooting an 8-year-old child. He was hospitalized Monday after he was hit by police gunfire near the Lowe's on North Texas Street.
