Sandy Hook Families to Share $1.5M from Estate of Shooter’s Mother
(CNN) -- Families of those killed during the 2012 massacre at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Connecticut have finalized a $1.5 million settlement, a source with direct knowledge of the agreement said Wednesday. The settlement involves eight separate lawsuits filed against the estate of Nancy Lanza, who was killed by her son Adam before his December 14, 2012, rampage at the Newtown school left 20 first-grade students and six adults dead.
