Kilehusene - tour of the bedroom and bathroom | that nordic feeling
Today we are going upstairs in the Kilehusene show house I decorated – come take a look at the parents’ section of the house. Here you’ll find a light, spacious bedroom, the bathroom (there is an extra toilet downstairs) and the hallway with a build-in wardrobe. As the hallway has a big build-in wardrobe, I chose to keep it simple in the bedroom and go for a light, airy feel to underline all the daylight flowing in from the big wall to wall window. But the room is big enough to put a wardrobe in here too, if you need more storage space. Here’s also a sneak peek at the multi room, that I will share more about in next week’s post about the children’s section. I wanted to keep the neutral palette from downstairs going, but I spiced it up with a sea-foam green wall. The colour is called Misty Lyon (K9.09.72) from Sadolin. Painting a wall is a great way to add some colour to your bedroom. I would recommend only painting one wall to keep a light, airy feeling in the room.
