A week of yoga, pilates and digital detox | that nordic feeling
Saturday I returned home from a week-long yoga and Pilates holiday in Greece. It’s been 8 days full of exercise, morning hikes, saltwater, sunshine, fresh mountain air, tranquility, serenity and community. My batteries are recharged and my mind is clearer. I had some much needed time to sit down and listen to what was on my mind and heart. In a busy schedule with work, the blog and life and the constant distractions of Instagram, emails, Facebook, Pinterest (and the list goes on…) there is just not much time left to philosophise about life and think about the big questions. I’ve been wanting to go on a holiday like this for years, so I finally decided to go for it. And it’s one of the best things I’ve done this year. If you ever have the chance – go for it! This won’t be my last holiday of this kind. I came home yesterday with a nice tan, freckles on my cheeks, lots of fresh energy, new ideas and plans that I can’t wait to dig in to. But I also brought some new habits and good intentions home with me. …
