I’ve tried every trick in the book without any luck until I discovered the one trick that works. Finally a way to enjoy these beauties. This is what you do: Boil some water and pour it into a cup. Cut the stems one at a time at a very sharp angle with a knife not a scissor. You want a big diagonal cut, so the surface that takes in the water is as big as possible. Dip the stem in the hot water for 20-30 seconds. Put it straight into a vase with tempered water. That’s it! Change the water every day. Repeat the whole process after a few days to make them last longer. Make sure that you come straight home after buying these – they do not take transport without water very well. …
