POBSE Tips #2 Get A Coach - Seth Yang
POBSE Tips #2 will touch more on how you could get started much easier by getting a coach. A Coach is someone who are already in a field for quite sometime and has some success stories. Anyone can become a coach as long as they want to guide someone and show someone the easiest way to achieve the goal. The best example is before I join MOBE in their 21 steps program. I started blogging a long time ago in 2008 in my old blog Hot On Blog, those who had been blogging for quite a long time ago might know me since I blog a lot about travelling in Sabah, photoblog and lots more. When I set up my blog, I started by following online tutorial which I got from Google. I read, read, read and read for a few weeks until I am confident enough to start a blog. Then the first thing that I do following my reading was to get a hosting and the first lucky hosting that I go with is Lunarpages a Canadian shared hosting provider (Which until now I suspect the owner is from Sabah who stays in Canada). Then from there they give me a free domain and the second thing that I do is to choose my domain name and since I think that time blog is a hot topic and you will be the hot sauce if you have a blog, I decided to go with a domain HotOnBlog.com (which still exist until now). After that, I set up my blog following some tutorials that I found by using Google and a few days later, I have my blog set up. I wish I have a snapshot of the blog to show you but all I found in archive.org is only some text not including the design. But you still can have a look on my old blog there https://web.archive.org/web/*/http://hotonblog.com/ and you will find that my tag line is not the same and I had never find a good tag line. After I setting up my blog, I had a hard time on what niche I want to write. Should I write how to make money online? Should I start Travel Blog? Should I start Food Blog? Or I just go with all of that? And finally I end up going for all of that. Then my blogging journey started. I don’t know the importance of going for a single niche so I decided to do all. I write about travel in Sabah, I make a photoblog of what I capture, I write nonsense, I take pictures of some event in Kota Kinabalu and I even copy and paste some of the jokes that I found funny in the internet. But that just does not make me rich. As the journey goes by I got a job then I slowly started to stop blogging. And finally after I found MOBE in their 21 steps program where I click the link in John Chow’s website (which I expected to be his link but it breaks my heart it isn’t. If you read this JC, I am your fan since 2008 and I still wish for a 1-on-1 coaching with you) and then I make my third make money online purchase ( after the first 2 is a scam. Really! and now I could not access their website anymore) since they offer me 3 coaches which is a 6 figures income coach, a 7 figures income senior coach and an expert traffic coach. Then I started my journey into affiliate marketing again with these coach. With them, I go trough the 21 steps and at the same time I asked them what I don’t understand and they guide me along until I finish my courses and I became a certified MOBE Gold Consultant. Along the course, they teach me how I can get started without creating my own product – which is the hardest part since at the time I write this post, I am 1 week delay in publishing POBSE. Luckily with the coach, everything is ready for me (excluding POBSE) and I only need to think how to put my ads so that I can start generating leads and converting leads into money. And to be exact the 21 steps is really simple and if you already an affiliate marketer and you know most affiliate marketing term you can complete in the shortest time possible and since you have your coach, you will realize why you are still struggling on making your first thousand dollar. Your coach will point it exactly for you. So my point in telling the story is, if in 2008 I met with a coach who are able to 1 on 1 coach me to do how I can set up my blog, what niche should I concentrate, how do I advertise and how do I do this and do that like what they do, things would have been much easier for me. Imagine I never have a coach, I will never write again and you would not be here today. But luckily they are here to help me especially when I needed them to guide me in affiliate marketing. So my advice for you, If you want to get started in affiliate marketing, start with people who want to coach you. You will be way better than doing the affiliate marketing alone. It will take a little investment but the return is much higher than what you invest. And by the time you are with your coach, you can avoid all the mistakes that people normally do when doing affiliate marketing.
