Guardians of the Galaxy: The Telltale Series Announced at The Game Awards; Coming 2017 | Power Up Gaming
Moments ago, Telltale Games confirmed one of the worst-kept secrets of this year's Game Awards by unveiling its latest episodic series based on Marvel's Guardians of the Galaxy. The title was first rumoured last month after a document uploaded amidst the SAG-AFTRA actors' guild strike listed it as currently being in production at O'Farrell Enterprises, LLC, under the working title Blue Harvest. That company is registered under the name of Darragh O'Farrell, a producer for The Walking Dead and other Telltale games. A number of commentators had also hinted that an announcement regarding the title was imminent, so anything other than an official announcement this evening would have come as a disappointment to Marvel fans. Telltale showed off a trailer for the five-part series at the awards ceremony, which it stated is "coming soon". In a subsequent press release, Telltale confirmed the first episode of the series will premiere in 2017. The studio's co-founder and CEO Kevin Bruner said:
