Snake 'Won't Really Speak Much' in Metal Gear Solid V, According to Kojima | Power Up Gaming
Metal Gear Solid V: The Phantom Pain protagonist Snake "won't really speak much at all", according to Hideo Kojima. In a leaked video interview conducted by IGN to promote the game's launch of September 1, the series' director claimed that the Kiefer Sutherland-portrayed lead will be more of a silent type than previous iterations of the character. He spoke about taking Snake back to his roots of being an "extension of the player", adding: "As much as possible, Snake will act based on the player rather than doing things like making spontaneous comments or flirting with women. In fact. this time, Snake won't really speak much at all. Metal Gear Solid V is an open world game focused on giving freedom to the player who will drive Snake's action. Snake himself will be more of a silent protagonist similar to Mad Max in Mad Max 2. It's the characters around him who will expand the story." Are you excited by today's MGS5 news?
