Weber, Claudia
Claudia Weber Claudia Weber is a Chicago-based artist whose practice focuses on the complicated roles everyday spaces, objects and materials play as agents of our current economic ideologies, and how a dissident or poetical potential could be distilled from them. Her works are often responsive to site, and her materials and approaches defined by a location’s shifting contexts. She has participated in numerous international exhibitions and residencies, hosted a year-long salon in her former Brooklyn apartment (Sterling Music Room) and taught photography on the undergraduate level. Weber is the founding editor of Plot.
