Sleepkiller: With two longtime friends - Permafrost.today
Hard rock collective Sleepkillers consisting of founding members Sam Rivers known from Limp Bizkit on bass guitar and Damien Starkey from Puddle Of Mudd, Burn Season on vocals, alongside touring members Bobby Amaru from Saliva on drums and Adam Latiff ex-Puddle Of Mudd on guitars. In the beginning of March the band released their self-titled debut album. The song Dirty Foot, The band’s album features 10 tracks displaying the effervescent synergy between Rivers and Starkey each track was formed out of their passion for musicianship with overflowing melodic riffs and hook-laden choruses. The musicians in Sleepkillers originated out of the intense insane love of conceiving songs that are raw and infectious. Rivers and Starkey are two longtime friends who are both multi-instrumentalists, decided to stop worrying about the demise of the industry that once supported their multi-platinum bands and start birthing music exactly the way they envision it. The song So Low, With no managers or labels breathing down their necks, they found the ultimate freedom that brought them here in the first place.
