Three tourists killed after speedboat capsizes off Koh Samui | Pack Thailand
Three tourists have been killed after a speedboat capsized off Koh Samui. Monica Cozma, 28, from Britain, Kafo Franeiska, 29, from Germany and a third woman from Hong Kong died while a British man, Jason Parnell, was still missing a day after the accident. The vessel, returning from a scuba diving trip, had 32 tourists and four crew onboard when it flipped over near rocks in choppy water. Many of the passengers were seriously injured. The women are understood to have drowned after being trapped underwater. Seas at the time are said to have been ‘rough’ with many trips in the area cancelled that day.
