Eighty per cent of Germans return to Thailand for future holidays Tourism chiefs in Thailand are pushing for more wealthy and student German visitors, it emerged today. The Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT) is using its office in Frankfurt to tempt the premium sector with package holidays, according to the Bangkok Post. They’re also trying to get young German travllers hooked on Thailand with new marketing bases in Cologne and Dussledorf – home to some 60,000 students. Germany accounts for the third highest number of visitors to Thailand after Russia and Britain. Income from Germany, at the centre of the Eurozone woes, is
