English rockers Suede 'LIVE' in Singapore
Credited as the kick starters of the BritPop scene, English indie pop/rock band Suede is back in full swing! Despite breaking up in 2003, the band reunited in 2010 and is back with a new album, a new tour, and a refreshingly familiar sound with the release of Bloodsports. Arriving in the music scene in the early 90s, Suede quickly captured the attention and hearts of fans with their sweeping, guitar-heavy sound. Often credited for starting the BritPop movement, their 1993 debut album was the fastest-selling first album in U.K. history. Suede debuted several of the tracks their sixth studio album, Bloodsports, online, including "Barriers" and "It Starts and Ends with You." The release featured a more mature perspective from vocalist Brett Anderson, and a sound that harked back to the grand guitar pop of Suede's early work.
