Jacksonville Icemen Setting Up for 2019 The Jacksonville Icemen, proud affiliate of the NHL Winnipeg Jets and AHL Manitoba Moose, today announced the signing of rookie forwards Colton Veloso and Jake Randolph to ECHL contracts for the 2018-2019 season. Veloso joined the Icemen late last season, skating in the final 4 games for the first-year club, following the culmination of his juniors career. "I'm very excited to be a part of the Icemen organization. [It's a] great city, great fans, awesome organization, so I couldn't be happier," said Veloso. Prior to turning pro, the 6-foot, 187-pound forward from Winnipeg, Manitoba, spent several years in the WHL (Western Hockey League--a major junior league) where he most recently played for the Kootenay Ice, notching 47 points (25G, 22A) in 71 games.
