Power To Save: Protecting The Delaware River
POCONO TOWNSHIP -- The federal government is supporting efforts to protect the Delaware River and improve water quality in its watershed. The U.S. Department of Agriculture announced Thursday that $13 million will go to projects in Pennsylvania and New Jersey. They will include a new approach to helping farmers and those who own forested land to protect it and keep harmful runoff and fertilizers from getting into the river and other streams that flow into it.
