Dow Up 50 points as Big Rebound Fades
NEW YORK, New York -- After five straight days of losses, Wall Street finally took a breather when buyers returned Tuesday. The Dow surged as much as 441 points on Tuesday morning after news that China was flooding its economy with more cheap money in a bid to calm markets and stabilize growth. However, that rally lost momentum during afternoon trading. The Dow was up only 50 points with just over 20 minutes remaining before the markets close.
