TUITION FREEZE: Regents To Take Vote
The Iowa Board of Regents will vote on freezing tuition during the board's last meeting of this year Wednesday. If approved, this would be the second year in a row of no increase. The freeze would only apply to undergraduate, in-state students. In order to keep the costs the same, Regents say state lawmakers must approve a four-percent increase in funding.
