Former President George H.W. Bush Released from the Hospital
President George H.W. Bush, who broke a bone in his neck after falling last week, was released Sunday from a Maine hospital. "A very grateful President GeorgeHWBush was discharged from @MaineMed after four days of treatment for a fractured vertebrae," his spokesman Jim McGrath tweeted Sunday. The 91-year-old Bush, the oldest living former president, went into the hospital on Wednesday after breaking his C2 vertebrae while at his summer home in Kennebunkport, Maine. He was never disoriented and the injury did not result in any neurological problems, McGrath said Thursday.
