Report Says Ag Commodities To Stay Low
Price recovery for agriculture commodities may be slow going according to a University of Missouri report. The University's Food and Policy Research Institute's price forecast indicates corn prices will stay at current levels.. an average of $3.70 a bushel for another two years. Corn prices are not expected to get above $4 per bushel until 2018 or 2019. It's the same for soybeans, which is expected to have large global supplies. Projected soybean prices are around $9.12 a bushel until 2017.
