Police take suspect in Aurora attack into custody without incident
AURORA, Colo. -- Aurora Police took a suspect wanted in the attack on a woman at the Pacesetter Motel on Thursday morning into custody at Sand Creek Park. Police, with help from the Adams County Sheriff's Office, negotiated with the man, who was making suicidal statements, at the park near Peoria Street and Fitzsimmons Parkway without incident. Earlier, Aurora Police said the man was "contained" and there was no danger to the public.
