Poudre drowning victim families seek public help to pay for memorial services
GREELEY, Colo. -- The family of the Greeley teen who drowned in the Poudre River Memorial Day has turned to the boy's college fund to help pay for a funeral. Christopher Alania, 14, drowned in the Poudre River Monday while fishing and camping with his family. His 38-year-old uncle, Jose Terrel, also fell victim to the rapidly moving waters of the river after he jumped in to rescue Alania.
