Loveland father, son rescued after getting stuck while descending Longs Peak
ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL PARK, Colo. -- A father and son from Loveland hiking on Long Peak had to be rescued Sunday night after losing the route during their descent, Rocky Mountain National Park officials said. Rangers received a call from a man saying he and his 13-year-old son lost the route at The Loft after they summited Longs Peak. The two took the Keyhole Route on their ascent.
