Denver sheriff’s deputy dies two days after motorcycle crash
DENVER -- A Denver Sheriff’s Department deputy died Saturday night, two days after he was involved in an off-duty motorcycle crash in Littleton. Anthony “Petro” Petranilli, 53, was riding his motorcycle on South Santa Fe Drive just south of C-470 about 3 p.m. Thursday when he collided with another vehicle, the sheriff’s department said. He was off duty when the crash happened.
