Denver Public Schools employees have direct deposit paychecks stolen in phishing scam
DENVER — Denver public schools are beefing up their online security after hackers stole more than $26,000 in paychecks. Over 160 employees got a phony email asking for personal information. Seven people fell for it. Hackers were able to get enough sensitive information to steal their direct deposit paychecks February 27.
