Foothills face a double weather whammy: snow and flooding
DENVER -- Some areas in the foothills are dealing with a double whammy: the threat of flooding and snow. CDOT shut down I-70 between the Eisenhower Tunnel and Silverthorne due to multiple crashes on Saturday afternoon. The interstate is back open. CDOT recommends four wheel drive, snow tires or chains on all vehicles headed to the high country.
