2 children, pilot missing after plane hits Conn. home
EAST HAVEN, Conn. -- Two children and a pilot are missing after a turboprop airplane crashed into at least one house in the southern Connecticut town of East Haven on Friday morning, officials told reporters. The children, ages 1 and 13, were in the house when the plane hit it shortly before 11:30 a.m, East Haven Mayor Joseph Maturo Jr. said. The children's mother also was at the home but survived, he said.
