Colorado could lose $750,000 in funding for meals for seniors later this week
The looming sequester cuts that Democrats and Republicans are still arguing about are set to take effect at the end of the week. The cuts, if they happen, will mean Colorado schools could lose more than $8 million in funding, jeopardizing 120 teacher and teachers' aide jobs. 700 children could lose access to the Head Start program.
