Temperatures hit record low Thursday, warm up on way
AURORA, Colo. -- Icy conditions that impacted traffic throughout the Metro area Wednesday night were not expected to improve Thursday, as high temperatures were expected to be near record lows for May 2. And shortly after 8:30 a.m., it was confirmed: Temperatures in Denver hit 19 degrees, setting an all-time record low for May 2, and tying the all-time record for the month of May.
