Maple Leafs sign Matt Read to PTO | Leafs Hub
It was announced yesterday that the Toronto Maple Leafs have signed Matt Read (RW) to a professional tryout. Read has split the past two seasons between the AHL and NHL, with a total of 31 NHL games played over that time. He's scored just 2 goals in that span, so while he could certainly serve as good depth and an injury replacement, I actually wonder if the Leafs intend to sign him at all.
