GAME DAY REPORT: SABRES @ MAPLE LEAFS, ROUND 2 | Leafs Hub
The stage is set for the second half of the Leafs/Sabres home-and-home. Last night saw the Leafs fall to the Sabres by a score of 6-4. It was a poor effort by the Leafs, with plenty of blame to go around. There are two expected changes to the lineup tonight. First will be in goal, with Frederik Andersen playing at home. The other will see Jason Spezza sit in favour of Alex Kerfoot, who returns to the lineup after serving a two game suspension. Jason Spezza has been good for the Leafs lately, but there's talk about load management for the 36 year old pivot. Expect him to rest during back-to-back games throughout the season to keep him rested for the playoffs. The team couldn't rise up for backup goalie Michael Hutchinson last night, lets see if they can do it for Sheldon Keefe tonight as he's set to coach his first home game. Buffalo Sabres Record: 12
